framed otter photo

Happy New Year, everyone! It has been a long time since we shared our framing stories – but we have a new, exciting framing story to share with you!

We “otter” tell you, we are beginning our retirement! We will be open only on Thursdays and Saturdays, from 9 – 6 through 2018.  We will totally retire December 31, 2018.

We would like to thank all of you for your friendship, support, and patronage for the last 35 years! Follow us throughout 2018 as we start our journey to a new stage in our lives.

It IS a new day dawning for us, and our two pictures of the week are our darling otter, which just makes us smile and laugh whenever we look at the wonderful expression on its face, and a beautiful sunset painted by the daughter of one of our clients. This talented lady says there is nothing to what she does – she just picks up her brush, and the paintings paint themselves. However she accomplishes her artistic endeavors, I would love to be able to view this scene every day of the year. Gorgeous!

For our otter, we chose a very simple black frame, since the otter is such a strong figure on its own. For the seascape, we picked a driftwood style frame with a blue grey wash that blends into the shadows of the falling night light.

We would like to wish each of you a healthy, joyous, and peaceful New Year!
